Ok guys - here is the car I am looking at right now. I dont have the tag info on me, but the car is early jan car. I was pretty disappointed in the vin stamp, but Ill let you guys tell me what you think. I couldn't find any codes on the rear/axle tubes other than the ones here, but these numbers dont jive to me - any thoughts? Trans seems right on with the build date of the car. Anything I am missing?

Fremont is known to have some funky alphanumerics, could be missing the 1 for a december assembly, does the VIN match? The rear end is clearly not original, and I can't make out the date on the 400's tag. The broach looks good IMO.

Do you have a pic on the cowl tag and Vin too?

I agree with Jason. Rearend is not right.

Were you able to look at the dash and underneath?

Also, can't quite make out all of pad stampings. Can you list?

Pics of the engine bay?

I think all the pics you had before were of the outside and interior.

The VIN on the Block places it late Jan possibly 01D vs. early Jan on my list. I'd like to add the trim tag data. If you can confirm the VIN to me later in a PM I can make sure of the placement, Fremont 329XXX VINs are late in the month, the last reported for Jan 69 is 330138. Agree that the rear is not correct. Hope that helps. Andy
