I just picked up a 69 tach cluster at a swap
meet. It appears to be missing the tach circuit board. There are 2 small wires coming
out of the back of the cluster with small push on connectors, the white wire comes thru
a hole in the back of the cluster marked +12
the other wire is black and comes through a hole marked coil, however these 2 wires are
connected directly to the meter movement.
I think there is supposed to be a small tach circuit board that the meter leads hook to and then 2 wires from the circuit board out the back of the cluster to 12 volts and the other to the coil.
Can someone who is familiar with a 69 tach cluster help.
Also I probably need the circuit board. If someone has 1 or knows where I can get one
please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

Thanks the picture helped alot. I'm missing
the circuit board and the terminal posts on the back of the cluster for the tach. The guy I bought it from said he took it out of a running car, he neglected to mention the removal of a few parts.
Now I need the missing parts...
BTW you have a very good diagrams for doing
conversions.
thanks again,

Bob
