cant remember what hole throttle cable goes through,top or bottom,for 69 ss big block.does plug for unused hole push in from engine side or from inside,under/behind firewall insulation.i think i know but its been long time apart.assy manual not very clear.thanks for any help.

Plug for the unused hole pushes in from the engine side. The higher of the 2 holes is your accel. cable hole. You will be able to tell quite easily from inside the car, as you look at the area of the pedal bracket where the cable attaches to, just draw an imaginary straight line and it will take you right to the hole in the firewall.

Its the hole that looks kinda square. The plastic grommet on the cable will snap into place it has small plastic clips that snap into the firewall.

I have seen them some place Nate I cant remember where but I have seen them. I f I stumble across them I will let you know.

I haven't had my eyes checked in about two years, but I'll go out and get some close up pictures, I know I can handle that, put them on and you can pinpoint them for me.

Getting this car done before it starts rusting where I allready fixed it, is like driving a sand point in the back yard, maybe it will and maybe it won't.
