A friend of mine just purchased a 69 Chevelle that had the vinyl trim but didn't really look like it ever had a vinyl roof. Did any of them come painted?

A cool look, similar to a vinyl top without the rust inducing effects of the glue, vinyl, etc.

My car was originally Glacier Blue over Dusk Blue (paint code: "51 53") - I "wish" I had a photo of it when new...

I have a 70 SS with a white top. Paint code 55 10, champagne gold - white. Actually saw a 70 Malibu at Frankenmuth Autofest with the same paint code a few weeks ago. I've seen one 70 Cutlass blue with white top. So they made them, maybe not a lot of them but they did make them.

There were numerous Chevelles & Beaumonts built in Canada with the 2-tone moldings by themselves; no 2-tone paint or vinyl roof covers. RPO D99.

Here's a 69 300 deluxe hard top that I just finished this summer. It has the factory color combo exterior (glacier blue with white painted top) and stock interior. The drive train was modified with a 427 / TH400, factory ac as well. Just something a little different.
