How does the 69 SS grill differ from the others?

69 SS and Malibu grilles were the same structurally. The Malibu had the fins highlighted with silver paint. The SS fins were black. Same part number, 3938180. 300 Deluxe cars did not have a center grille moulding, but had a wider center bar without holes. GM still makes the 300 deluxe grille. It will fasten right in, but if you put a center grille moulding on it, it will stick out a bit too far. A correct repop with center grille moulding holes is available. Very close to original. They put a few more reinforcements were GM should have.
