I stripped my door panels and re used the original metal top pieces and bought the door panels that were not pre-assembled with the top metal in them, its a little more work but is much better fit.
I used the PUI and was happy with them. Or you can also get them from http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/ The only reason I used PUI is because legendary did not have them in production for Chevelle.

If you're careful you can glue the mylar back in place. Both my "popular brand" '69 door panels had the chrome strips come loose at the bends. I glued them back with 3M HD spray adhesive brushed onto the backside of the strips.
If you re-glue them as Von suggested, where the strip wraps around the back of the door panel, staple it down, so it can't pull out again. Thats the way the better door panels are done.
