Ok...been fighting with the new door panels all day and have reached my frustration level. The original panels are long gone(my mistake). The panels are not PUI, nor are they Legendary(again, my mistake). The metal rail that holds the fuzzy is curved right, but there doesn't appear to be anything that indents or notches to catch on the metal clips on the door top. Should there be something that catches?

can anyone please post a pic of the notch or indent or whatever it is that catches on the door....

Thanks!!!!

Jeff did you order the complete panels? If not you needed the metal panels off the top of the old door panels. When I ordered mine for my 72 the shop that did my interior just re-used my old top plate off my old door panels. The metal panel at the top of the door panel is what hangs on the clips at the top of the door. I hope this helps you out.

I know what you're saying, but in mine, I can have the clips in on the sides, the top rail over the hooks, but it's like the hooks aren't doing anything but sitting there. Nothing to grab onto and the back edge tends to lift up which then the fuzzies no longer are near the window.
I'll figure something out.

The top clips move in and out to catch the metal lip of the top of the door panel. Some doors panels have plastic. You need to move them toward the window and try and catch the inside curved lip, that what keeps them from moving up.

i yesterday got some new after market door panels and started to install them and ran ito the same problem. what i found was that the curved metal at the top of the door panel wasnt curved enough so i had to bend it over more by hand not much them it seemed to lock in on hooks and stopped popping up on top
