hello everyone just looking for info on convertible specific defoggers, purchased n.o.s. one a couple weeks ago but the installation details leave alot to be desired. anybody have pics of one installed? mine is going on the 69 project i'm currently engaged in. or if someone else might have a diagram of installation maybe i could purchase a copy of it. also is there a spacer ring that mounts to the fan/motor housing that in turn mounts to the divider/ rear seat upright? thanks in advance for all help. michael

Depending on what you paid for it you might be better off selling it, they bring big bucks sometimes and since they just blow 'room air' for lack of a better term they don't work that well. As for how it hooks up, not sure exactly, but I bet someone will be able to post a pic of theirs.

Don't know how it hooks up but that has got to be one rare option. To me is doesn't make a lot of sense to order rear defrost on a convertible. Haven't seen many hardtops with that option and can't ever remember seeing it on a convertible. Would like to see a picture of the set up on a convertible.

Below is a picture of a rear defogger as installed in a 1971 Buick Skylark convertible. It would be the same on any A-body convertible of the same year or era. Note that it is installed on the upper center of the rear of the back seat cushion through the well material. Uncommon option.
