I need some help… Please!
The clutch fan for my ’69 Chevelle with a 325hp 396 and Air Conditioning, is froze up. I keep checking ePay for an NOS one but none ever have the same bolt pattern. Mine has an ink stamped “CH” on it. I measure 2-1/8”, center bolt hole to center bolt hole, on the water pump mounting flange and 3-1/4” between the fan mounting studs. All the clutch fans I find on ePay have a different bolt pattern. Am I measuring the holes wrong or what? Thanks for any input.

Oh.. I still need a '69 coupe frame......
Anyone ever tell ya ads are not allowed in the forums?

Why don't you just go to your local auto parts store and buy one.
Take the old one with you (the fan clutch, not the frame)

Dean, this is a question... I am looking for someone else's input on the spacing on their clutch. I'm not looking to buy one of the restoration forum board. The parts stores I tried only carry the universal one-size-fits-all thing. The original clutches have bolt holes instead of the slots. I searched the past threads but came up empty on anyone listing a shop that is rebuilding them. Thanks for your time though....

thanks for the lead 1badSS396. I left them a message and an email. Mind me asking... do you have an original clutch on your '69 and if you do does it have a CH or CK? I do not have a build sheet to verify what came on my car originally... Who knows, maybe I have the wrong one already and that's why my measurements don't add up...

I was (jokingly) refering to the "frame wanted" you edited out of the original post.

I bought one not too long ago at O'Relilly Auto parts, any of those folks near you?
They are not EXACTLY like original but close enough.

that's fuuny in itself... The frame part was a statement made in disgust!
I tried the "O" and the AZ people. It does not take much to get a job working behind the parts counters down here. The O guy brought out one of the universal ones. I sure miss NAPA. As for the Chevy house... It also looks nothing like the original. I knew that when the guy told me it fit any V8 from '62 thru 92...I'm hoping the rebuilders lead will work out because I also have the original one off my vette that needs rebuilt.

Y'all have any Carquest Auto parts down there?
They seem to have more American made stuff that IS like original.

Wow! there are two of them in the Ft Worth area. I'll take my old one there and see if they can match it up. I would still like to find out if my "CH" stamped one is correct or not. Since I can't find a 69 frame I got plenty of time... I told my nephew he could borrow the car for a few months once he got back from his second tour of duty in Iraq. That will be October 2006... By the way It's Pearl Harbor Day...
