Original long block, original bore, disassembled. Body is very solid, floors, trunk all good. I'd replace the quarters as they have a lot of filler. I'd also replace the roof skin, it has filler.
Original lemans blue, black bench gut. Muncie included but not original 4.10 KK rear, appears to be original to the car.
Story is long on this one, all legit, and has been off the road since '74.
Survivor interior.
Please be SERIOUS if you inquire. In a pm, we'll exchange phone numbers and have a conversation, I won't entertain lengthy messaging.
Will ship, but buyer will need to do the legwork.

$13k

Sounds like that car went through hell in 5 years, Jerry. But then it looks like a good project for a skilled restorer.

I was referring to all the body filler the car acquired between 1969 and 1974.

I've never had a Chevelle that didn't have dents filled with filler. It was the way the backyard Joe's "fixed" them way back when.
My last one had altercation with tree resulting in a dent filled with about a 1/2" of bondo. I knew it when the magnet fell off upon inspection.
No rot, all original GM sheet metal for 13k......I'm surprised it's lasted a day.

Yeah, Lou, I bought a '66 L78 Chevelle SS back in 1972 that had both quarter panels filled with bondo. I could tell from the wavy surfaces when I bought the car but it was cheap...and fast. From the doors forward the body was original, straight and solid, but those quarters......

Yes, I think $13K is a very decent price for a genuine L78 project car with solid floors and original standard bore engine. If I didn't own one already I would definitely be interested at that price.

I fully remember my older brothers shopping for their first cars in the mid '70s. Every ride that looked cool was beat and every ride that my dad was trying to push on them was a perfectly straight granny car, which received a thumbs down. My oldest brother Joe talked dad into a '66 that was already repainted twice by '74 and was filler head to toe. Then Jeff went shopping in '76 and was hell bent on a first gen camaro. I remember a half dozen jacked up, beat to heck prospects that had ratty interiors, 12 inch grants, and virtually all had been repainted, probably outside jobs, ranging from bright colors to bass boat purples. He listened to dad and bought a '67 firebird 326 that looked absolutely showroom, rallys and a 3 speed manual. That thing was super slow but since it was dad's pick, he constantly bragged how it would tromp all over that 327 muncie shifted chevelle....not a chance, got to ride shotgun on more than a few spirited drives. The chevelle beat a number of big blocks and the firebird could barely scratch first. That muncie whine with the white ball left a lasting impression.
