I used this method and it worked just fine, but takes some getting used to "feeling" for everything.

I tried for a long while keeping the hanger inside and "jiggling" it around with no love. Finally, I just pushed the hanger in and heard a click (the tumbler being depressed). Pulled out the hanger and repeated, took 5 minutes.

I did this, got the old one out, then th new one somehow went in upside down and i couldnt get it out. With force i managed, but i broke it lol. the i tried taking one of the broken tumbler out of the new one and replaced it with one from the old one. No luck. Be careful when instaling the new one.

Any chance i can get your old glove box lock/key? As a zip tie is holding my glovebox door shut... lol

Matt, I would have been more than willing to ship you out my old one, but I threw that along with a ton a crap in the trash for Friday's pick up. Sounds like its time for a new door
