So where can I find out what exactly is supposed to be used to mount the front plate to the bumper? I don't just want to throw a couple screws in the bumper and call it a day.

Pretty sure I checked all the threads here and nothing solid came up.

I bought what I believe is a 68 bracket. Blasted and painted it, made it all pretty and it doesn't fit. In fact, there are no bottom holes on the bumper for the bracket as far as I can tell. Only holes for the bumper guards which I removed.

I can't find the bracket for sale in any of the typical places (OPGI, Ground Up, etc.)

2 square plastic inserts and 2 screws and a small rubber bumper at the bottom round hole. greg

I could be wrong, and I am often, but I don't believe there was one for 69, just the square plastic plugs that clip in the bumper, then attach just the top of the plate.

Like Greg said, no license plate bracket in 69.....68 was a one year only bracket.

Those square plastic plugs are available at any parts store by the way.
