Hello, I have a set of YA wheels that have been in storage since the early 70"s these wheels show no signs of dove grey paint, they are argent silver and charcoal grey inserts, what years was the dove gray used that everyone talks about? Iam going to restore these and want to be sure i do them correct. Thanks

Don the dove gray paint was only used on the backside of the SS wheels.

These wheels are all argent silver no dove grey on the back side

nos wheels are dove grey on the rim. I suspect the entire wheel was dove grey, then painted the front was painted.

well after more research it appears that silver was painted over the dove grey on the back of the wheel. Thanks for the reply's
