I believe you are correct

could of been removed from a 68. but that doesn't mean it came from the factory that way.

$260...Whew. I'd rather spend the money on a hotckis setup. This is worth $100 IMO

The sway bar is still available for under 80 bucks, not sure how much the box kit costs but I couldn't imagine it costing more than 40 bucks. So 120 bucks plus shipping Vs. 260 plus shipping? Jim

My understanding is that the swaybar gods didn't bestow a sway bar option on the Chevelle until 1969. (The 1965 Z-16 being the exception, it got one)

In my opinion, it is one of the better modifications I've made to my 68 coupe.
Unless you're a totally stock nut. Its hardly noticable, and makes a dramatic improvement. And doesn't cost much.

I did add new bushing, shocks, springs, and stock boxed lower arms that winter though. :)

Agree that it should be able to be done on the cheaper side of the 260 dollars mentioned above.

If you can find the hole spacing you could cut some pipe to keep the arms from collapsing, and plate them with some steel you find on your own. to really keep the cost at a minimum.
