Wondering what year steering wheels are direct bolt on replacements for the '68??

Using that logic, wouldn't it be safe to assume aftermarket wheels for those years would fit as well?

The driver on this is I've seen some very nice '70 3 spoke wheels that I think would look good on my '68.

All you need is a '68 or earlier hub (w/ horn parts) and the 3 spoke wheel will bolt right on. '69 and newer hubs are larger in diameter due to the ignition switch in the column and will not mate up correctly. The 64-66 hubs are for 2-spoke wheels. BTW all splines are the same it is just that the hub should mate flush. These hub & wheel kits are available repro.
