Has anyone done this switch and what to look out for?
Mine is a non tach. and only the dummy lights for bat. and oil.

Nope.......ok wing it I say 
yes what you want to know ?? all three harness are different under dash- front lighting & engine harness ... if its an ac car you use the ac harness & not the wires in the under dash harness for the heater resistor & fan switch except for the one brown power wire ...get the harness's from M&H elctric fabicators... its really stright forward swap..
