Something isnt quite right with my ignition switch replacement. Bought the OER 58 replacement from Summit along with the 58L key cylinder. New ign nut and bezel also. When assembled the key sits very deep in the bezel. Too deep to be right? Is there a longer nosed switch for the dash mounted 68 cars. Im missing something?
Thanks

I thought my switch set too deep in the instrument bezel after I replaced it about a year ago. However, after research I found that it is normal. I think you can find some post on this in the archives. I believe that is where I got my answer. My biggest problem was the new switch I ordered (which is made in Mexico) kept blowing the fusible link. The switch was changed because I had the bezel out and it got changed as "preventive maintenance". I ended up putting the original switch back in and all is well.
