Mine is chrome along with valve covers.Looks like mine( 4brl quad.carb.)except where the wing nut goes can't see what the deformity in yours is around it,mines smooth in that area.Heard of a corvette vendor that has good ones.Should be with drippers inside.Mines early 68(jan.67) doesn't have the wire tabs on them.

Although this is not my breather cover, mine is just like it (minus the decal).
I think it was factory on my 68 396/325 engine. Do you know for sure if it is original for my engine? If it is correct I'm sending it out for re-chrome.
Also I want to buy new valve covers for my engine. One is slanted and both have drippers. Who has the nicest ones?
