Welcome to Team Chevelle

What is the Width of the Rearend in the car ?
from Face of Brake Drum on Driverside to Face of Brake Drum on the Passengerside =

Has the car been lowered or is it sitting at Stock height ??

What are the Wheel Well Measurements ???
A. Width of Fenderwells, from Frame/inside Fender TO inner Lip of outside Fender =
B. Height of Fenderwells with max Width =
C. Space from outside Fender inner Lip TO Face of Rear Brake Hub =
D. Face of Rear Brake Hub TO Frame/inside Fender =

Important things to NOTE;
1. the Rear Lower Shock Mount Bolt may interfere with the Wheel Rim
2. and yes your car's exhaust may interfere with the Tire on a 10" Rim
that is why I went with a 8" Rim with a 4.25" / 4.5" Back Space
the Type of Brake system on rearend, Drum or Disc !
as the Disc setup is usually wider than a Drum setup !!

It's a 1968 sitting on stock suspension at original height with drum brakes. I'm wanting to use rally wheels. Idk if I'll go with the widest combo that will fit but would like to get fairly close.

15" rally wheels? If so, 15x8 fronts w/4.5" backspace and 15x10 rears w/5.5" backspace

On my 69 I have 245/60/15 on the frt. and 275/60/15 on the rear with 4.5 backspace frt. and rear, . Fits with no rubbing and fills up the wheel wells nicely. There are some pictures on my photo bucket.
