I am getting ready to pull the body off the frame and starting to loosen up the body mounts. They all came loose with out too many problems except the front. Is it normal to not have the front nuts in a cage like the rest? Both front sides on my car were with out cages. Thankfully GM put that opening in there so I can get a vise grip to hold the nut, but both ended up breaking out. (See picture).

The 2 front bolts didn't get cages. They were just tach welded, and they come loose easily. An open end wrench works too.

Had that happen to my 69. I took a sawzall and cut through the bolt and took it out through to hole.
