I just bought a 68 chevelle ss and have the original jack but had to order screw,wingnut and lug wrench sleeve and need to know how it all goes together. can somebody help me with this. maybe some photos

Now you need to order the jack instruction decal from Don Lightfoot for your trunk lid.
Then you need to buy a factory assembly manual from one of the resto suppliers so you'll have pictures of how your car was put together. Here's the jack stowage sheet from the AIM.
