hey guys, i bought a radiator shroud for my 68 chevelle on ebay a year or so ago, and it was not the right fit for my car. my car came with a 307 powerglide trans. the serial number on the shroud is 3938164 and its in great shape but it wont work for me. the guy said it was 68-72 chevelle small block shroud. can anyone tell me by the numbers what this fits so i can sell it properly? thanks!

According to the number everything I find it should be a small block shroud.

I did not check any numbers but could it be for 69-72 sb with long water pump?. 68s have short water pumps and have a longer shroud.

According to my "1969 Chevelle and El Camino Factory Assembly Instruction Manual" Part Number 3938164 is used with the small block engine with the long water pump (your '68 has the short WP so it will not fit). Also correct for '70 and fits '71 and up.
