as far as I know they are the same size rearend as a chevelle,my question is would these rearends bring the same money as a chevelle 12 bolt?

what you have is a pontiac 12 bolt.not as strong as chevy rearend.
not worth as much.

they use a 10 bolt carrier i think. still plenty strong. i personally have never broke one but i know who has.

the rearends the guy says he has told me they are not the ones with the 10 bolt carrier but just like the chevelles.

70-72 buicks did not have 12bolts im not shure if 68-69 had 12 bolts either, not american built ones anyways.

The chevelle 12 bolts are c-clip very hard to find reasonable, they sell from anywhere from $650 up..The bop are the type that are not.. bop rears are common and worth alittle more than scrap price in my area, northwest Oh.
