I'm looking at 67 ss. It lokks to have the standard type trim rings on the slotted wheels with the center cover like #c 5858-11k on page 29 NPD cat. However the cap is a 3 bar spinner with an ss in the middle. Are these stock or dealer optioned or just some jc whitney add on?

Not having seen the picture, it sounds like basic Ralley Wheels with Stainless Trim Ring and instead of the Flat cap center, using the aftermarket 3 bar type.. though in reality all of the set up is likely aftermarket.. very common.. is it stock?? well technically a 67 SS only got Ralley Wheels with Disc Brakes.. so unless the car has factory disc brakes... not truly correct but again VERY COMMON on 67 to see this.

Did all SS 396's in 67 have discs? I know it was madatory on BB mustangs.
Front disk brakes were standard starting on 1969 SS396s.

The BB Mustangs didn't have disk brakes standard until 1970 models, when they became standard with 351 and larger engines. The Boss 302 always had front disks though.
