I'm having top motor issues. So I am trying to test various parts of the system. Switch is good. I'm testing the motor itself and when I put juice to it from a battery, I get a blue arc when I touch the contacts and no movement. I have another motor that when I hook the battery to it, spins correctly. Does this mean the motor that is in the car has fried?

Yep, sounds like the electric motor windings are shorted. I have a couple like this, when I get around to it I will drop them off at the local motor repair and get them rebuilt.

Chad,

I just had mine apart (and its new!)... Why not switch the pumps?

I popped a seal last night... Ooops, I guess I overfilled slightly... Everything was so clean, then "pop" fluid everywhere... Thanks God I only had to set the oring back in position... 30 minutes wasted, had to re-bleed the system, but it works again...
