I'm converting my 67 SS to power steering. Can anyone suggest a source for a pitman arm? I've looked in junkyards in my area and found plenty of pitman arms for P.S. boxes, but none with the 5" hole spacing and 5/8" offset like the manual arm from a 67. Does anyone know what other years will interchange? Thanks.

Shooter - Have you had any experience with these guys? I'm getting ready to add power steering to my 70 SS but will need some technical help I'm sure. I'll buy my parts, (looks like $700 approx), from whoever I think will help me through this. Their web site has more info than I've seen anywhere else on the subject of power steering upgrades. Is the service as good as the site?

I ordered one of their pitman arms for my '67 and was a little dissapointed. Be aware that these are refurbs, not new. They just take a '68-72 arm and ream out the hole for the center link (special taper reamer). They do a fine job of finishing the arm, looks like powder coating, but the one I got looked like they beat it off the box with a hammer
, so there fancy powder coating had to be stripped so I could smooth out the marks and start over. Probably just should have sent it back. Chances are the next one might have been taken off properly.
