Hello
My project 67 SS originally has disc brakes. However the calipers and booster/ master cylinder are massing.
What's the best economical calipers and master cylinder and booster out there? I see a wide variety of parts and prices online.

Thanks

Somebody can chime in here but I think the 1967 had 4 piston calipers so I think there brackertry (ie spindle) might be specific to those calipers. In other words a single piston 1969 caliper may not fit. So if you can not find 4 piston calipers you may even need new spindles to hook up to the old standard single piston caliper they started using in like 1968 or 1969. You will need to research this. You might want to call Master Power Brakes to see what they say.

You are spot on and please don't remove these very rare 4 piston brakes. My 68 4 piston brakes make my wifes 71 Camaro SS single piston caliper brakes feel like crap. The Chevelle unlike the Camaro and Vette that used small bore piston calipers the A bodies used large bore. You can buy reproduction parts for rotors, pads and calipers and AC Delco master cylinder. Some say they are unreliable but I am here to tell you they are great brakes. OPG has the parts you need as does ebay and other places

Thanks for the reply!

Is that link to the calipers on ebay accurate for a 67? Looks like a good price!

I'm also considering the whole disc brake kit from CPG with dropped spindles. Looks like a complete kit in one shot

Somewhere I have a disc brake setup off a 67 chevelle I bought over 20 years ago, just in case I ever needed spares for my 67. Just wish I could find them
