The car is starting to come together quick, soaking the pocket too. Trailered it to the exhaust shop after work tonite and paint flys a week from saturday. Ordered the paint today, car is going Platinum Pearl with a white base, PPG.

Here are some updated pics. We have the front group off the car, will put it back together this weekend. Still have so much that needs to be done, the dreaming about driving the car looks like it might become a reality soon.

Going to try to get 3 inch aluminized pipes over the rear end and dump out the back. Have flowmaster mufflers and will be configured in an x pattern.

that is one straight looking sedan. if you are going to use bucket seats you ought to go on and weld the proper floor brackets in before hitting the paint shop with it. also applies for a stock type console...nice job !!

thank you. Here are some before pics. and yes buckets are going in, I was planning on getting the bench to bucket brackets from OPGI, I bought seats from a TC member. console, yes I would enjoy the thought of finding a console, I have been trying to keep my priorities in line with this project. We are replacing all the glass and all new weatherstripping. I have no interior other than my back seat and the bucks so I need to get an interior as well. My work is still cut out for me.

These pics are before and after we did the 1/4 and door skin replacements.

We have 3 days left before rolling the car into the body shop. for paint I snuck over on my lunch today to get a few pics, the first time in 3 years that all the panels have been back on the car. Needs another coat of primer and some more hand blocking but its getting close.

I am starting to get pretty excited, I actually might be able to drive my chevelle this fall. Got a long ways to go still though
