I searched all threads, but didn't see this, I saw a 67 with a metal shroud, not the finger guard . I know about the plastic shrouds. Question is was a metal one used? I found one but like to know if it's correct for HD cooling 4-row radiator. I can send pic of metal one if necessary, Thanks in advance.

The metal shroud was used with small block v8 and AC or heavy duty cooling.

Tom, A/C and HD cooling w/ bigblock? my friend has an elcamino BB with a/c, it has a plastic shroud

1966 & 1967 396 with AC, or HD radiator, or A.I.R. (smog), got the plastic fan shroud.

Difference between small block and big block. My 67 small block with A/C has a metal shroud and 2-row radiator.

Small block cars with heavy duty cooling used a plastic shroud. This is with the 4 row radiator. I have two of the small block plastic shrouds.
