Can anyone tell me if the quarter panel extensions/tail light housings from a 1967 Chevelle 300 will fit on a regular Chevelle Malibu. I do not want to put the tail panel and tail light bezel trim on my car, so I like the look of the more plain bezel trim around the tail lights like the 300's have.

Yeah they are actually the same quarter extensions.......its just the bezel thats the difference.

Be aware you'll have to remove the trunk trim and the studs used to hold the trim as well as fill in the lower trim holes. You might also look for a 1966 trunk lid - same as 67 and doesn't have the trim holes.

Thanks very much for the info guys. I am already using a very good 66 trunk lid and I have replaced the rear tail panel so it has no holes. Looks like I should be good.

It was a custom mix orange pearl. Car aka "GR8PMKN" Full custom interior, 408 (396+.060) Accel/DFI fuel injected big-block w/700R-4 transmission. After owning it for 17 years, I had to sell it a few years back.

300/Malibu/SS bezel is all the same. You can get them new....but kinda pricey about $150 each in any of the catlogs NPD/Ausleys. I bought 2 NOS ones off ebay... for about $40 each. Better off looking for original ones save more money plus im sure a better fit.

VINS67 not the extension the bezel it self. I also have a Malibu and have ditched the trim for a cleaner look. I currently have the 300 bezels/trim but they are not the best of shape.

:clonk: Whoops...brain fart...was thinking the extension not the bezel. Id have to say ebay is ur best bet...occasionally ive seen them on there...ive never seen new ones just used. Any way you could get yours re-chromed?
