My cousin has a 67 that appears that the rear springs have been cut, then spacers installed to bring it back up to around it's stock height. Or maybe it was lifted with the spacers then the springs cut for stock height... Or maybe they sagged or are dropped springs...
Anyway he wants to lift the car another 1/2 - 3/4's of an inch in the rear and get rid of the spacers at the same time. If we know the hight of a stock spring then we can add the lift needed and the spacers and find a new spring that will work.
How about cargo coils, or maybe wagon or elcam springs? Any that are taller and a little stiffer? He has a big sub box in the trunk which causes the car to sit about 1/2 inch low in the rear...
Thanks,
David
