pics or opinions of 67 with hooker headers, some say they hang to low i have not seen a 67 with them on it,i was thinking about buying some for bb 67 chevelle. thanks
You will be much happier with Headman Elites. Have put 4 sets on 67's with no issues or dimpling. Love the ball socket to connect to the exhaust pipe. Prices are reasonable from Summit. Plenty of clearance.

Depends on the Front Ride Height of your 67

Before I Lowered the FrontEnd of my 67 by 2" I had no problem with them hanging to low
but after Lowering the FrontEnd the Hooker Heasders do Rub on some Speed Bumps

I've always liked the smooth transition of the four primary tubes on the Hooker headers as they go into the collector, (as you can see in the pics of post # 4 above^^). Does that really equate to more power, and better exhaust flow than an abrupt transition like the Hedman headers have?? I don't know. I once had Hookers on my 70 Chevelle, but since I have a tall deck block, any off the shelf headers were going to be a big problem with fitment regardless of who made them.

I've heard good things about Doug's headers but I never had them myself. I'm not even sure if they're still in biz. Ya never know these days.

Doug's still exists under Pertronix Brands which also includes Patriot Exhaust. I used Patriot performance Headers on my 71 and would buy again. No issues, no hammer needed. Here is a link to your 67 for everything Doug's and Patriot.

I thought I heard good things on Dougs headers on these year Chevelle. Note on the 1964 to 1967 the frame up front is 1 inch narrower which is why some of the earlier cars have more fitment issues when it comes to the BBC.

I believe Doug's is the best fitting header on 64-67 frames according to all the posts I've followed on Team Chevelle and other places over the many years I've been here. Especially if you want a bigger tube than the 1-3/4" of the Hedman. I've had Hedman's on 2 car.... 65 & 67 both with BBC. I did have to dimple each to clear the lower control arm bucket that's welded to the frame on each side but not a lot. On the 67 I have AFR heads with the raised exhaust ports and the Hedmans required a 3/8" spacer on the driver side to get good spark plug boot clearance.
