'67 Beaumont SD - What do ya think?

Gentlemen,

A good friend of mine is considering this car for purchase. After years of reading here I am confidant that I could help him make an informed decision on a Chevelle but Beaumonts - well, I dunno.

For those that DO know would you please have a look at the photos in the link below and let me know what you think. Not too concerned with things mechanical, or with body issues - more concerned with authenticity and any issues that are specific to these cars.

Many thanks,

Dan

Check the VIN to make sure it is a real SD. The VIN should start with 73837. What is the build date of the car? Someone correct me if I'm wrong here. The early 67 SDs had a small block. The 396 wasn't added until later in the production run. Don is correct about the "Econo-Jet" decal. I have a set around here somewhere. I would contact General Motors of Canada for the info on the car.

My 68 SD originally had wire wheelcovers with disk brakes. I have a set but like the look of the rally wheels more.
