Got the grease& dirt mostly off. Appears they might have been gray phosphate at one time. Looks like reinforcement for WP pulley not painted or replaced at some time. Odd crank double pulley, maybe replaced from an ac car. Stamped C4296 and 4060-6, it is cast. Is it aftermarket? WP pulley is gray phosphate with black paint on top of that but only on the front.

What is common thoughts? Thanks

In 66 and 67 some were phos plated and some were painted black. Some particular pulley part numbers came only in one or the other finish. Other part numbers could be either, depending on the plant and when the car was built.

These are off a 66 nov of 65 KC car, thinking WP pulley was repainted in 97 along with a bunch of the engine compartment and undercharriage stuff. PS crank pulley had been replaced with aftermarket cast 2 groove pulley
