the only way I think it could work out is if you found a rusted old donor car with a bad frame....
Box your frame, then yank the convert body... fix the floors and 1/4's that will no doubt be swiss cheese, re-use your current doors, trunklid, interior, etc.....
On second thought, maybe buying a rebuildable convertible IS a better option?
