Hello,
i own a 66 chevelle knee knocker tach and the original wiring harness is off of it. the posts look like they once had stamps telling what wire went to which post but they are now faded. does anyone know the wiring configuration? i dont want to make a possible mistake and destroy the tach. i have had the tach for 15 years waiting for the car for it to go in, and now i finally have it. thanks.... mike

Mike, The post below the light socket uses a brown wire and connects to the distibutor (- side of coil I think) and the post at the 4 o-clock position (with light at top) uses a black wire and connects to an ignition switched 12 volt source.
