I put a new battery in my 66 the other day and suddenly the horns don't work. When you depress the horn ring, you can hear the relay 'click', but there's no power to the horns. I jumped them momentarily and they do work. Do I simply replace the relay?

Have you tried to see if there is 12 volts on the relay horn wire terminal? Might just be a bad wire connection. If the relay is closing and there's no 12 volts out, I guess a new relay is needed.

Thanks John. After pricing a relay @ $40, I decided to 'calibrate' the old one. I pounded on it and.....it worked again! Took a few times, but it works now. Would it be a good idea to create a small oriface to lubricate the insides? Just wondering.
