I took the inner fenders out of my '66 wagon with the front tires still on it and the car was up on an open trailer.
Easy job! .

I have done it this way. Not too bad but easy to scratch them when putting back in.
Well chances are I'll scratch em then

Well, then it should be that much easier up on jackstands with the tires off.;)

Thanks guys, it looked that simple, but never having done it, and wanting no complications ... I wanted to ask first.

thanks again

Freddy,
I just recently bought it from Nick Lewis,..... see all the snow behind it, it's your fault.
Remember back in Jan. when I was driving my 66 up here and you said

Seb, something tells me that before the spring, you are going to get your fair share of bad Connecticut weather. I know, I lived there for 42 years!!! No more, I moved to the south. Very nice and warm here also!!!!!!!
Well , when I closed the deal last Tuesday, the roads were just about sand free and it was in the 50's. The rain predicted for the upcoming Friday , got switched to snow and we got about 10 ", now the roads are all crap again and I had to unload my new car off one trailer on to a smaller one and dump it right in my garage, without even taking a spin. I blame you for this Freddy!!! :p :D ;)
