The main firewall plug on my 66 was one of the two plactic lock pins broken off.
I need suggesting on how to fix the problem.

Rocky hit the nail on the head, however, I'm not sure what to suggest. This might be a junk-yard "pull what you need" type item. I'm not aware if this piece is available aftermarket wise. It never hurts to ask the reproduction source:

M&H Electrical

In the worst case scenario, you'd have to replace everything that connects to that bulkhead connector (that's the proper term)--the harness
I'd ask around first though if that's your only problem with your harness.

Wayne. If I remember correctly the locking pins are on the side of the body ("lower or engine" side of the fuse block). This can be replaced separately. I would advise you to buy a proper tool to remove the pins from the connector block though.

A quick way could be to fabricate a small brace (some wire ?) that runs over both connectors and attaches to the firewall. That can prevet the connectors from wiggling off. You will have to be able to drill two small holes then http://www.si.hhs.nl/~rob/images/scanned/474d_ass_blkhd_con.jpg
