OKAY GUYS THIS STUFF IS NEW TO ME
I JUST OPENED MY NEW DASH PAD BOX THINKING IT WOULD GIVE ME AN IDEA ABOUT REPLACEMENT BY LOOKING AT THE NEW ONE-WRONG
HOW DOES THE BACK SIDE (CLOSEST TO WINDSHIELD) ATTATCH ? IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE SPEEDNUTS HOW MUCH DISSASIMBALY DO I HAVE TO DO ON THE FRONT IE HEADLIGHT SWITCH ETC ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

I have a 66 & went through the same thing.
I ended up taking the dash out completely (It needed cleaned & re-wired anyways). There are speed nuts along the windshield part, and screws along the bottom edge of the pad. It really isn't that bad taking the dash out, just a big pain in the but!
