Guys:
I'm patching up my console - I never had the original PG shifter; so I don't really know how all the parts/brackets/wiring, etc fit together. I'd like a little guidance from those who have been there.

I have a broken bracket between the clock and shifter hole. I don't know what the missing piece is supposed to do, if anything. Do I need to bridge that gap with something? I've included 2 pics.

just seems to be a side to side/top support bracket and the wireing harness attaches to it,Darryl
