I am in the process of converting over to power steering in my SS396. The Saginaw gearbox (5691676) fits, but the tapered end of the pitman arm that came with the gearbox doesn't fit the stock drag link. Can anyone tell me a part number of a pitman arm with close to 1.193 for the splined hole and .640 to .550 for the tapered hole? It is 5" from center to center of the holes. Is there another solution like changing the splined shaft in the gearbox to match the manual gearbox pitman arm?

Update...The Saginaw gearbox has the 4 bolt cover, but the shaft is 1 1/8 - 32 spline. The pitman arm that was attached has the 7/16-20 thread tapered holes (.550/.469) apparently used with the 13/16 center link and idler arm. The car has the 7/8 center link with 1/2-20 thread tapered studs. So I either need a pitman arm with 1 1/8 - 32 spline with 1/2-20 thread tapered holes (.640/.550) or I need to replace my idler arm and center link with the 13/16 versions if I can find them for a "66. Is the real solution to find a power steering gearbox with a 1" - 32 spline shaft? The ones on ebay listed for a '66 have the same casting number as the one I have, but don't list the spline size. Anyone else run into this?
