I just had my two front seats done not long ago at a local shop.I like doing most all the work on my car but it was nice to not undertake the task of the seat recovering. They charged me 75.00 each to recover and I bought the covers from NPD.Now i don't worry so much that it's not done right.(IMO) of course. If your more skilled at something like that then i'd say if you can save money have at it ..hope this helps
anyone have a good article on redoing these seats?
All I can find are redoing mustang buckets.
Tommy,

I did mine and it was not bad at all.

I think the big thing is if your original seats aren't all tore up and you can slowly take them apart and see how they are put together. Do one piece at a time, so if you forget something you still have one to refere to.

Then have your new material there so you will beable to put them back together right away so you don't forget where things went.

Get lots of new hawg rings and a good hawg ring pliers, you can't to the job without them.
