A Year I would say....
just had to say it.

The 66 Mag Wheel cover has a center with the Bow tie on it just like the 67 but on the 67 style, the center is flush with the wheel cover. The 66 style has the center coming out about a 1/4 inch or so.

Also, the 66 cover has a painted black lower wheel ring, ie., you can see this black area when you look at the cover, the 67's are abit different in this regard.

BTW 65 and 66 are the same though. and there is a picture of a 66 wheel cover on my home page, I have them on my 66.

Hey Mike, any idea what a nice set of simulated mag wheel covers are worth? Saw a set hanging on the wall of a junk yard and have been thinking about picking them up.

Regards,

Dan

Not sure what the cost is on those, but I picked up a set of 15 inchers that ARE NOS for 400 clams... and also a set of 14 inchers used for 250 so.... Whatever the market will bear or you are willing to pay for.

Well Dan....From my experience I would say that 65/66 Simulated Mag Wheel Covers ( 14") are very pricey these days, even "driver" quality ones are taking some serious money on E-bay ( about $300 set of 4) and the really nice Show Condition ones are in excess of $500. Every once in awhile, you will see a set go cheaper, but that's b/c the seller doesn't realize what he has. Now the 67 style, dime a dozen and taking much less coin...about $200 for a nice set of those but less for even driver quality.

The above post was made for that reason, I believe, as they are now posted for sale and what appears to be a good price, but without seeing them first hand, it's too subjective....I am picky. These can be restored fairly easily as long as the outer steel ring is good and not all hammered up or curb dented, the rest of the wheel cover is just paint. I am looking for a good outer steel portion myself, as I have one with a slight curb dent.

sorry for the long wind....In a word or two:

BUY EM!!
