I have pulled alot of steering wheels, but how do you get this beast off. There is no way to remove the center cap( without breaking it) to get to the nut to remove it.
I don't see any other way to remove it, but to drop the column and look for another way to take it off. We are installing a new custom wheel, but until I get this one off, I'll have to wait. Thanks for the help.

Pat,

The center cap on a stock 65 steering wheel snaps into the horn ring. Just pry the round center cap out of the horn ring to gain access to the shaft bolt.
