I have always felt the 66 and even most of the rest of the other generation chevelles and the early monte's the drivers seat is to close
the the steering wheel.
And I'm not that big 6' 0'' 170#

I agree. Unfortunately for my 1965 El Camino there is not much room to move the seat back further than the OEM mounting position.
