Over the years, I've received some accurate predictions on here, so thought I'd have fun dreaming about our current build. My son's 65 El Camino.

Weight: 3,550 with driver
Th400, 10" 3,200 stall
3.55
26 x 10.5 slicks

383
10:1 CR
Hyd Roller (241/247 @.050, .546/.565, 110 LS)
1.5 rockers
Dart SHP200
Perf RPM
Holley 750 mech secondary
1 5/8 headers
3" pipes (x pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo, 3" tails)

Any thoughts on what it might ET / MPH?:D

I'm with Mr. Speed.

Once you get the carb and distributor dialed in....AND you can launch the car with 1.7 or better 60 foot times......that's a sub 12.00 car.

But don't expect to run that your first time out....in July. You'll have to work for it....but it's there.

Good luck!

Real similar to my old build. First time out Im thinking 12.2-12.4 range at 111-114. Once dialed in 11.8-11.9 at 114-115 range.
