You have the right tank. The sending unit mounts in the front. :thumbsup:
64 Sending Unit Location
I just got a new gas tank and am awaiting a new sending unit. My question is, on the 64 is the sending unit supposed to go on the top of the tank? All of the pictures of the tanks I've ever seen for it have the hole on top.
The tank I just received has the hole in the front. Is this ok? Will I still be able to install the sending unit so that it works properly?
I really don't want to send the tank back if I don't absolutely have to because it will cost me $40 in shipping to return it.
