I see that E-Bay has three Dash wiring Harnesses:
@ 70 Chevelle Tach /Gauge Wiring Harness
@ 64 Chevelle Dash Wiring Harness "Idiot Light Dash"
@ 68 Chevelle Automatic

Will any / all work on a 64 El Camino Standard Trans, with Gauges?

Or am I better to buy new???
Build the one on the Elky and tame the Spaghetti?

Steve, I think that getting the correct one is the best thing to do and M&H is the best place, in my opinion, to get one. They will do some custom work for you, the website is www.wiringharness.com you may want to get the ph # and call them for a better idea of what you need.

None of them will be a direct drop in replacement. The 68 or 70 isn’t even close. The 64 light harness could be modified to work. If you have the cash go for a reproduction harness. Or repair the existing harness.

Steve,

I would buy the M&H harness, I got mine from YearOne they'll give you a 10% discount if you are a Team Chevelle member. I fought electrical switch problem for years and finally broke now and bought a new harness.

Also, could you tell me on the back of the tach, which wire goes to which terminal?

Thanks
