I am starting my swap tomorrow. Out goes the stock gas sipper peg leg from my 72 malibu and in goes the 67 3.36 posi.

Is there anything I should be aware of doing the swap? I know the 64-67 rears are a tad bit shorter from drum to drum which is good for me to help eliminate the small bit of rubbing I still have with my wide rear tires. I also managed to find the correct 67 rear to go with my current style of springs. My only concern at this point is the upper control arms...will my current stockers bolt in correctly with the 67 rear? Anything else you guys suggest I keep an eye on for?

How much more am I going to love my cruiser after the swap??

Thanks!

Well I guess there wasn't a need to respond because everything fit perfectly!

For anyone who is searching in the future. The 67 rear that has the correct spring perches fits a 68-72 with no issues. At least as far as I know...
